I'm not saying this is a good idea, just that sometimes good movies come from board games.
But Clue was just murder mystery, it's already a proven story arc.
Catan has no story as far as i remember so it’d probably be like dnd. Random stories set in the world. So you could take any proven story arc and just repurpose them for Catan.
