What disingenuous bullshit is this?
You can argue about majors being good or not until we die but this dude is acting as if the Shakira laws are about to be implemented with this mamdani.

They all are clutching their pearls because Mamdani would demonstrate that a more leftist approach could be popular. This feels threatening to the Republicans because a neoliberal milquetoast Democratic party isn't dangerous to them, and this would be.
It's threatening to them as well, note the amount of pushback from DNC fossils when he won the primary and the panic now that it seems he might win.
From what I hear from people that religiously watch Fox News, that's the whole narrative. Mamdami is brown and Muslim, and all Muslims in government enact Sharia Law, therefore Mamdani will force us all to be Muslim.
The logic isn't there, but it does play into the Great Replacement theory they love so much.
