Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:

- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

It really is mind boggling that we still aren't acting against our government. It's a constant barrage of news about things getting increasingly worse, a whole available plan for what to expect and tons of comments about how "they're gonna pay". Like it's absurd at this point.
Cause people still haven't gotten the severity of the situation through their heads. I lost my temper today at someone who said they're looking forward to when he's out of office. Don't you get what's happening? He isn't going to leave office. There isn't going to be an election as normal. The fascism isn't ending until there's a violent revolution or war
Then go out and lose your temper on the people causing the problems. I know exactly where this is going, but if I lift my head from the mill for even a second the slave driver will have it cut off. We're not stupid, we're scared. We're too scared to miss work for a protest, imagine how scary an armed rebellion would be.
I like your optimism in thinking there will be an office to leave.
Seems like the USA will just let it slide into civil war and genocide.
For a civil war to happen 2 sides have to fight. One side is mentioned above.
Considering the number of shooting victims we have here, how would we even notice?
Didn’t you hear? There was a big bullshit parade with snarky signs this last weekend! It totally didn’t embolden the fascists and wasn’t absolutely a huge joke for the purpose of making white liberals feel satisfied that they “did something.”
Are you trying to tell me that doing something like that, “peacefully,” one Saturday every three or four months (if the weather is nice and everyone can get permission to take a day off from work), isn’t enough??? Allow me to introduce you to a few thousand cowards on Lemmy who are ready to tell you why you’re wrong!
