It worked for us Finns. Swedes gave us a shitload of weapons and volunteer fighters in 1939 and now we're free, independent, democratic and prosperous. Sometimes I wonder if a part of our high ranking in the happiness index is from having perspective of how things could be. One only needs to look east. Your deliberate mischaracterization won't find much reception anywhere with a free press.
