I tried using Jerboa but it's very badly bugged right now. Have been using Connect for Lemmy. As a long-time (10yr ) RIF user it doesn't even get close to RIF, but it's the best I've used so far. Here's hoping TalkLittle or someone else makes an app for Lemmy (as I understand it he's making RIF for Tildes, but Tildes has its own problems). Connect for Lemmy is OK, and is quite usable.
