You're not wrong.... By becoming a fish, you get to escape life's responsibilities like paying taxes and working.
The only problem with "reject humanity, return to monkey" is it doesn't go back far enough.
You also cut yourself off from most of life's greatest pleasures by having no opposable thumbs and barely being sentient, though..
