Sorry, the potato is too german. We did a little fascism back in the day too, so that’s out as well.

Potatoes originate from South America though.
Rice is problematic because Japan had a bit of a fascism problem, too.
Rice was domesticated in China and Africa, I think he might be ok on that front.
Might wanna look up how many people died in China as a direct result of the communist revolution.
