The ps5 community from Lemmy.ml is planning to migrate.

This... is an important test and something to study. Migrations across the Lemmy-verse are untested. I'm going to keep a close eye on this community and seeing if it works out for them.

what? .world is federating with threads? when was this decided/announced? threads is awful, and it makes me sad to think we're federating with them now :(

.world is just not preemptively blocking. They made a whole post about it. Threads currently doesnt federate with anyone, so there's nothing to block.
