So his plan was to start a coup with 21% of his normal force? No wonder they didn't make Moscow
This shows how effective nuclear weapons are as a deterrent. The threat of them is the only thing keeping the war going this long.
My guess is that he planned on a popular uprising to join him along the way, and while heβs super popular, so is Putin. It didnβt materialize.
