There's a Ladrboke's and a Betfred literally across the street from each other just around the corner. And a tiny casino next to the Betfred. Apparently people are very willing to gamble in Blackburn.

Fun fact:

Chicago comes from the Algonquin language meaning "stinky onions".

Blackburn comes from the Sooties language meaning "economic decline".
