Firefox will upgrade page loads to HTTPS and gracefully fall back to HTTP if that does not succeed. This behavior is known as HTTPS-First.

Wasn't this already the case? For a while?! I don't know whether this means HTTPS sites will load more reliably, or HTTP sites will.

Hmm, you might be right. But I've also seen some instance where it asks me to confirm if I wanna open the HTTP site

Hardware video decoding is now enabled for AMD GPUs on Linux.

I guess it wasn't enabled before

I use a resource monitor called Resources. It has a GPU tab that shows the GPU decoder usage go up when playing a video.

huh. it goes up while playing some youtube.

thats on latest stable, but im pretty sure it was working before this because cpu use was way too low to be using software.
