Honestly it's crazy how much power flagship GPUs consume. Aside from it never being even envisioned in the ATX spec it's just a giant waste of electricity.

GPUs should be made more power efficient not more power hungry.

Technically, the RX 9700 XT is AMDs Flagship, and with only 2 8-Pins, consumes max. 300W.
