- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

The hiring of family members to jobs that pay 100k+ that they are unqualified for is a great place to start.
Everyone should be saying this, you can't have a mayor that has this shit hanging over their head. In decades prior he would've been forced to resign as soon as those allegations surfaced.
Why are they "forced to resign" and not "immediately arrested, charged, and under investigation"?
Like, retaining their job should not even be an option...

Marion Barry was convicted of felony crack possession, did 6 months in prison and then got reelected. That ship sailed long ago.
You could tell the moment the “mysterious” charges came in he was waiting for Daddy trump to take the throne so he could kiss the ring and make it all go away.
I feel like Adams is so stupid and overly confident about himself that he thinks this could parlay great into a presidential run in 4/8 years.
Adams is a textbook definition crooked politician. He’s a thin skinned whiney bitch who thinks he knows best and can’t lose. I fear he’s going to somehow rig the mayoral election.
The Adams election was like a preview of the Trump election for me. Many of us saw this man was a corrupt, lying egomaniac well before the election, because so much of the reporting made it crystal clear. And we did our part by spreading the word and voting against him, and in the end none of it mattered one iota because voters disliked de Blasio (Biden) and wanted a major change and were too dumb to see Adams (Trump) for what he actually was.
I heard somebody did an "awkward gesture" to a CEO in NYC some time ago...
It would be a shame if, someone did another "awkward gesture" 😏
