Too late. Dumped my tea and drank my piss.

"The solution to pollution is dilution" is capitalist propaganda to avoid paying for their externalities.

We live in an enclosed biosphere, and have been polluting it — poisoning it — well beyond what is sustainable for well over a century, and are continuing to peak ecocide every year, with no reduction in sight.

So yeah, we have microplastics in our balls and brains, are breathing air, drinking water, and eating food, with an ever increasing number of synthetic chemical compounds that are literally poisonous. What the fuck we think was gonna happen? Eternal youth?

Haha. All of your comments are shit. It's like a masterclass in how to be a dickhead.

It's probably more related to how the hardware stores the software; the strength of a memory depends on the strength (complexity) in the interconnectivity of neurons related to that memory. The more some piece of information relates to other information, the physically stronger the connection of neurons that make up that information become.

Prior to 3ish our brains are focused on the foundations needed to form complex thought and memories; sensory perception, coordination, time, language, etc. Once we reach a certain level of skill with those foundations we probably hit a threshold where new pathways are strong/complex/interconnected enough to last, and be continually reinforced or built upon, for a lifetime, to the extend they are unlikely to ever deteriorate without some TBI or neurodegenerative disease.

NOTE: not a doctor.

There are only "checks and balances" when all 3 branches of government are not fascist/corrupt.

In Christian fascist America, 4 years old is old enough for the mines and marriage.

At this point I just don't click any links in emails related to my accounts. I go directly to the website and login to perform the action. Emails are just a notification.

True, but there's zero chance he had anything to do with this tweet.

My washing machine has wifi and an app. I bought it because I read the manual and all networking is disabled by default.

Otherwise, for all appliances, get ones with the longest warranty, unless there is a significant difference in price.

Genocide accomplices!

Everyone involved with this "law" should be tried and hung in the Hague for aiding and abetting crimes against humanity.

Whoever commands the killbots will genocide the 99% and rule humanity, forevermore... until whenever general AI is achieved and the remaining humans are eliminated; they will have proven they can't be trusted.

Not really "powertripping". Just pathetic. Consider this a notice to avoid feddit.org... I've unsubbed and blocked the instance.

We can't dehumanize fascists for their choice to dehumanize everyone for things outside their control though, because that would be mean, and hurt their sociopath feefees!

Europe stool idly by throughout the 1930's "tolerating" fascism, and the Nazi's killed over 100 million people. Don't make the same mistake as the radical centrists of history. Fascists will not afford you the same tolerance or courtesy.

First comment removed from asklemmy thread about who's good/bad re Israel/Palestine is apparently too nuanced and anti-extremist for snowflake dessalines. Ya gotta fuel the hate and extremism if ya wanna comment round tankie parts...

The linux ban was regarding a comment (pretty sure the OG comment was different) about Russian maintainers being removed from the linux project. Obviously you can't call out capitalist Putin's authoritarian dictatorship in the communist sub, because ML mods are pro-authoritarian and pro-dictatorship; not anti-capitalist... At this point I'm convinced most "tankies" are just PsyOps operatives.

I can't figure out how to view my own reply comment anymore, but a /Ukraine user commented this insanity and I called them out — that cornering a sociopathic nuclear armed dictator is recklessly stupid, and exactly what will trigger a nuclear war — and got massively downvoted for "enabling Russia". 90% of the user base agreed with "conquering" Russia, and thought previous mini incursions across the border are equivalent; proving that nukes are a forever bluff.

The best part? After inspecting several of the mods and users comment histories I realized all seem to have nothing to do with Ukraine whatsoever, and appear to be young pro-war machine North American jarheads (or keyboard warrior wannabes), who sub to or mod numerous other military related communities.

Thus, conservatism and neoliberalism are, in reality, the radical agenda...

Funky funky

Broke timestamps. Everywhere. New replies will show "10 hrs" while the original comment will show "18 mins".

When viewing posts I see tons of phantom comments that seemingly have nothing to do with the post or are replying to something when they appear at the top level. Navigating to the post in a web browser shows dozens more comments (not from users I've blocked or anything).

Formatting of content across posts and comments doesn't match what the site does when I view it in the browser.

Thanks to the Memmy dev and any contributors, but broken software is broken software.

So, what's the best alternative these days?
