If you claim you're gonna do something you can't/don't have the power to do just to get elected, I'm sure as shit still going to blame you even if we both know you can't do anything about it.
Trump said he'd lower food prices on day one, so he gets the blame for not doing what he said. I don't care how little power he has to do it, don't claim you can do shit you can't do and whine about it after the fact.
The less time he spends on the job, the better.
That just gives Elon more seat time.
