I use that for my 3d printer. My wifi was all fine and dandy until I got an enclosure for my printer and the metal foil seriously impacted my signal strength. Used these to get Ethernet across my house, works great in a pinch!

Until you try to use it. They have limited bandwidth and totally shit the bed if you have noisy, high power devices running on the same panel (anything with a motor).

More like a hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, any brushed motor. A 3D printer runs steppers off of an smps that should be relatively quiet.

Ok cool! So just the more higher powered motors. Sweet!
