We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."
The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.
The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.
It's time.

This needs to be the message everywhere. We now know that this movement has a massive following all over the country; the resistance has the numbers. Now it's time to turn those numbers into sustained, escalating action.
Liberals protesting in liberal cities. Oh my, what a revolution.
I liked that one post where a deep red, tiny town had 37 people show up. That's what we need. Local friends and neighbors seeing us say, "No. Cut your bullshit."
But sure, I'd bet Musk and Trump are tossing and turning, losing sleep over this. The Republican legislators are watching with a worried eye and the Democrats are doing whatever the fuck it is they do.
You're not wrong. But every fire needs to start with a spark. The numbers have grown massively each month. There's no denying that.
