The General strike organization is dedicated to creating real change by striking against The System. This country still does not work on behalf of its people. By striking we deny the corporations their greatest power - IT's labour.

To follow up my previous post, I did some research on alternatives to Amazon Shopping to suggest to anyone interested in ditching Amazon. Note that I have not personally read each company's mission statement. AFAIK, all of these businesses are registered as B Corporations.

If anyone has any reasons that any of these sites aren't a good replacement for Amazon (ie shitty business practices), please let me know so that I can reconsider their inclusion on this list. If anyone has more suggestions as well, I'm all ears. I'll be working on an infographic with this same information as well, to be more easily spread throughout social media.

I was sent this by a friend who saw it trending around various social media which I don't use.

Personally, I think it would do good to lengthen the economic blackouts to 3-7 days. But, any coordination helps, and I think the weeklong corporate boycotts will at least send a message.

I'm looking for other places to share this. I checked BuildTheResistance, but I couldn't figure out a way to submit dates for a protest without a link to a site. I have a link for the February 28th blackout, and I would be grateful to anyone that could help me in sourcing these other protests.

EDIT: found the sources! They're all by The People's Union USA. It's just that all the boycotts besides the 28th are tucked away in their FAQs page.

I should say, as well: I think general boycotts are a good idea, and I support the idea of protesting on these dates. However, I don't necessarily trust The People's Union USA. They have a login feature. Don't be so foolish as to make an account on a fucking resistance website.

Law enforcement officials are searching for a suspect after a Tesla dealership was damaged by gunshots in Salem, Oregon, on Wednesday.

This is not my favorite source article, but it does clear up something that's been getting passed around.

Yes, someone shot up a Tesla dealership in Salem, OR, a couple days ago. Yes, this is the same dealership that had one of its cars set ablaze on Jan 20, 2025.

However, this shooting is being conflated with a sticker that says "Kill Elon".

The "name tag" style sticker with "Kill Elon" inscribed on it was not at either Salem, OR, incident. That was a separate thing done by protesters in New York. That's why I chose this article to post, because it refers to that.

(For legal reasons, we cannot recommend this kind of action be undertaken, planned, threatened, encouraged, etc. Definitely do not do anything like this.)

Theoretically, if Canadians gave real-looking one star ratings on Google Maps for Tesla dealerships and chargers, then it would discourage buying Teslas. People who already own Teslas would choose public chargers from other brands - even Canadian ones. It would also be hilarious to see every place selling swastikars with reviews lower than a doge employee's IQ.

Skim existing low reviews, find a common thread, and run with it.

Bezos' Washington Post refuses to run this ad and get paid over $100,000 for it. Let's run it ourselves! There are two pages. We can print them and post them up around our towns and cities. It would be great to post it on federal buildings, and if you are or know a federal worker, have them print it, too and distribute them.

With enough, it can have at least a small psychological effect on Musk and his followers.

For those serious about organizing and sharing important sensitive information, e.g. you're a government whistleblower, you're sharing information with free press outlets, etc., it's important to communicate securely. The best (and probably easiest) way is to use a live bootable OS that leaves no trace. TailsOS can be written to a USB flash drive and run on any computer after rebooting. HOLD UP! CAREFUL! The download size has been marked at 68.00GB, and the actual download size just changed to 30.7GB. I had started downloading, saw it said 68GB, went on with my browsing while it ran. My browser screen just flickered, I saw a bigger sliver of "done" than I though was possible, and now it's 30.7GB.
