The General strike organization is dedicated to creating real change by striking against The System. This country still does not work on behalf of its people. By striking we deny the corporations their greatest power - IT's labour.

If y'all aren't already aware the first test date for Consumer Power is on Feb 28th. Don't buy ANYTHING on that date. Yeah, it's brief, it will probably be a blip, but this is like a test of the emergency broadcast system. If we can get say 2% of people to do that, then watch closely for reactions, it will help us spread the word for the 2nd test. Then the 3rd. It's only through this grassroots organization that we can accomplish anything.

I had a friend tell me that they'd already seen organizations trying to make it their idea and honestly, I'm not at all concerned about who is putting their brand on it. The POINT here is that we need to start exercising our muscles to make this a real tool for change. Stop focusing on that message and start embracing the larger goal here. Spread the word. RESIST.

What's funny is Ukraine used to be the place where Russia's nukes were made and maintained, so they literally had to hire Ukrainians to continue maintenance on their stockpiles. These guys already know how to MAKE nukes. I wonder how much of that factors into these recent decisons?

I had the unique pleasure yesterday of watching a long standing British friend of ours tell off my Trump father online yesterday. 40 years? they've been friends? The gloves are indeed coming off and it's a delight.

Only one computer left on Windows in my household and only because of gaming. Everything else is on either Linux Mint or Bazzite as I finalize testing. Windows is dead to me.

To be completely fair, I'd love to see SCOTUS' faces right now. Do they and Congress not understand that they're losing all their influence?

A warning from a man who watched the Third Reich unfold

This article seems to have a lot of facts mixed up and they appear to be unaware of things that to my mind are publicly available. What's going on with the spin?

The article states they have no idea what the shooter's motivations are, but there was a screenshot of Crook's X account that pretty clearly laid them out. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F3503dwt80gcd1.jpeg

The article goes on to state that he bought ammunition at Walmart, while other articles state he used an AR, and that Biden wants to ban them again in the wake of the shooting. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2024/07/17/biden-ban-ar-15-trump-assassination/74416454007/

Walmart does not sell .223/.556 ammo.

It's been 6 days since the shooting. What the hell is going on with investigative journalism?
