"Impedance matching is one of the perpetual confusions for new electronics students, and for good reason: the idea that increasing the impedance of a circuit can lead to more power transmission is frighteningly unintuitive at first glance. Even once you understand this, designing a circuit with impedance matching is a tricky task, and it’s here that [Ralph Gable]’s introduction to impedance matching is helpful."

For me it is always a bit irritating seeing a man of science having a bible verse in the background. I watched the video and he does a good job, but since Maga/Evangelical uprising, this is a thing that makes me very cautious about what comes next.

I missed that part; wish I hadn't posted it now

This video provides mechanical demonstrations of impedance, SWR, and some other related concepts, making them much more intuitive: AT&T Archives: Similarities of Wave Behavior.

Pros: He never uses the term "complex conjugate"

Cons: Ancient, black and white, monotonous droning.
