Best they're gonna do is join the tyranny

[–] Zer0_F0x@lemmy.world 30 points 3 days ago

It's only tyranny if it's from a blue state, otherwise it's just sparkling law and order

Anyone who thought that their definition of "tyranny" wasn't just "someone wants to do something nice for someone I don't like" was just fooling themselves.

“Tyranny is when I’m not allowed to do whatever without consequence because I’m a big baby bitch boy with a grade 6 or less reading level who’s pumped full of toxic masculinity, even when I’m a lady, and a kilo of insecurity injected straight to my spinal cord every time I lose at anything(and even when I still win but not by as much as I wanted to).”

They’re all just awful people who never grew up running on their baseline hardware like fucking animals. The funniest part is that they’re terrified of losing to people who want to install variois safety nets to insure that the loss isn’t too disasterous for them while they can only respond to any action against them with straight-up, literal death threats.

"They're our guys so it doesn't count!"

I will never consider joining the NRA. Fuck those conservative dick wads.

[–] wanderwisley@lemm.ee 5 points 2 days ago

Oh they will rise up, but it will be on the side of tyranny.

Liberal gun nuts loathe the NRA. Even the right-wing gun nuts are largely sick of their shit. NONE of the guntubers I watch even give them a nod.

They're hanging by the skin of their teeth by helping with gun range insurance and the like. Acting like they're even a modern lobbying thing exposes one's ignorance.

Hey, come on now, it's only tyranny when the Democrats do it.

[–] Lucky_777@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

They will follow their Republican overlords till death.

It's almost like the opposition party to the tyrants spent decades villifying gun ownership and calling the NRA murderers, resulting in the only people left in the NRA and 90% of gun owners being Republicans.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yeah except the real reason is the NRA was taken over by gun manufacturer Lobby a long time ago. They don't care about gun owners or their rights they care about selling more guns.

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

And now would be a great time to push for that if they hadn't turned into an asset of the Republican party and Russia.

Gun sales. The industry could be marketing to people about the tyrannical government and the need for people to arm themselves.
