I would say that this is an indication that Piefed support is on the cards but might require development on Piefed end too.

As a user, if lemmy devs don't try to resolve the duplication problem and take topic flairs seriously soon, people are going to leave it in droves.
Already have a piefed account and might switch to it when voyager starts supporting.
Welcome!
Does GitHub enable you to put up funds for implementation of a feature? If so, Iβd throw down for this.
Yea same, PieFed has so many features that Lemmy simply doesn't. I prefer it so much that I just use it in the browser on mobile, till a good mobile app is available.
Interstellar already supports Piefed, Mlem and Blorp are working on it.
Will Voyager also support PieFed in the future?
This might be our version of "Poob has it for you" π
I hope so. I'm using Interstellar on iOS full time now after switching to a Piefed account. It's good, but not nearly as polished as Voyager. I'm sure it will be though, but a couple of options would be great.
Never heard of Mlem or Blorp. I downloaded Interstellar but haven't looked around piefed yet.
Is piefed just another kbin? What are the advantages of piefed over Lemmy?
PieFed is a lot like lemmy, but built in Python with a few key features that make a big difference, most notably
- De-duplication of Posts Across Communities
- Unified Comment View
- Merges comment threads from different communities for the same link. You can see all discussions in one place, no matter where the link was posted.
Also the onboarding is a use UX improvement, and therefore I think it will gain more traction than Lemmy in the long run.
It federates with lemmy instances, so you can see all the same content.

Good to see you say this after our discussions a while back
I'd understand if not honestly. That's going to be a good amount of work, but I hope they will. I'mma stick to lemmy though the features of PieFed don't make me want to swap right now. Still more options is more good
Blorp...
The app looks much better than what the name would suggest
That Name makes it sound like a parody :D
Does piefed have a JS client lib? Lemmy does, which probably makes adoption easier.
