I worked on a sailing ship with some Kiwis it never got old hearing them call “all hands on dick” or calling for assistance from the dickhands.

I can't put my finger on why, but something about that pic looks AI-generated. That said, could definitely be eating crow on that assumption.

This meme is at least 6 years old.

You guys are being way too paranoid and seeing AI everywhere.

[–] sibannac@lemmy.world 18 points 1 month ago

I can see the pixels so this is ~~photoshopped~~ AI.

The cycle continues.

Looks kinda AI but not when you look closer. There's reflections and perspective and stuff that AI would have stuffed up.

this may have been true 2 years ago but the new models are terrifyingly good.

I had the same thought. The lighting maybe? Or the background trees? Something feels off

I think it is the shine. Everything is to smooth including the plants in the foreground

It's the AI shimmer

Okay that is a pretty nice deck. I looked at it for a while and started thinking about decorating it.

The railings don't continue to the full length of the deck, which is both a safety hazard and disappointing. Or in other terms, why the fuck did you circumcise your deck? Definitely losing points for that.
