Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Tucker it's not like you helped this chump get to this position or anything you fucking nonce.

[–] frezik@midwest.social 38 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Guessing Tucker is more in bed with Russia than Trump. Russia is in bed with Iran. Now it's the worst foursome scene on Pornhub.

His weenie don't work, so he's just some weird novelty character in the corner.

The leopards are munching a bit of tucker.

[–] ramble81@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago

But he’s doing more than we wanted to when we were trying to control him! (No need for a /s)

[–] Camzing@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

What a relief, Tucker said it so it's false.

Can we get Tucker, Trump, and Musk into a 3-way standoff?

Can we get them all in the next starship test flight?

I think they were in a three way once already

The president of peace everyone...

Something something Biden world war 3!

...I mean I won't fool myself, biden would be struggling to talk with bibis dick in his mouth just as much as Trump, but still... Trump was sold specifically as a president of peace that would keep us out of war by assholes like Carlson.

[–] JcbAzPx@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Biden wouldn't be dealing with it either way. Even if he didn't step down and somehow miraculous won, he'd have retired to deal with his illness by now.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 13 points 1 day ago

When the draft is revived for the war, I hope the MAGAs howl when their sons and grandsons are hauled off to Basic.

20,000 anti drone missiles diverted days ago from being sent to Ukraine to Israel. Their purpose to shoot down Iranian drones sold by Iran to Russia.

Prior to the attacks being launched the U.S. put restrictions on the movements and gave orders to the U.S. embassy on where Americans should/could go:

https://il.usembassy.gov/31518/#%3A%7E%3Atext=Due+to+the+increased+regional%2CSheva+areas+until+further+notice.

It's clear the U.S. knew what was happening. And also if the U.S. said no, why would you divert the extra defense support at the last minute?

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Headline is gramatically incorrect. Carlson posted the newsletter not Trump.

[–] Rekhyt@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's ambiguous but I did not interpret it as Trump posting the newsletter.

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today -4 points 23 hours ago

Its not ambiguous. It's always the newest matching noun that's the antecedent. In this case it's wrong.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 4 points 1 day ago

I'm sure Trump will respond in a measured and tactful way.
