In terms of business decisions it may make sense, but honestly the very fact the show's had additional seasons already seems to really kill the spirit of it. A spinoff would feel like sending that spirit to further depths of hell.

I appreciate the irony, if nothing else.
Forcing a second season was bad enough…
I thought the same, but S2 was different enough for me and the ending gives me hope for S3. I liked most of the characters!
A spinoff is meh though, just let it end
