castle in the night... and my back is still ok fortunatelly

[–] bss03@infosec.pub 3 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Same... and my back no longer hurts after I started running. The back pain actually went away before the weight did.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Awesome! I started running too... up to 4.5 km 3 times a week

[–] bss03@infosec.pub 2 points 2 weeks ago

When I started it was more of a walk (2.0 mph; 30 minutes), but it still wore me out.

Now, I do a 7min mile on Wednesdays, try to get my 5k @ 2% incline down to 28 minutes on Satruday (did ~32 minutes yesterday), and try to get a 10k in under the "club limit" of 1hr on the treadmill on Sunday (did 6.15 mi. in 1:02:00 [2 minute cooldown] today).

It's the best way to get my recommended weekly cardio I've found.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

[–] TisI@reddthat.com 5 points 2 weeks ago

A great way to remember this is to remove the other person and see how it sounds. My five year old decided to sleep across me.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I don't have a favorite pattern but that's because I'm now on Ubuntu and would play Aisleriot now.
