That chocolate at the bottom is so well loved that a company sells cone ends filled with chocolate.

Give it to me then. I'll eat them the same way I eat your left over pizza crust and shrimp tails. ๐ค
I can understand the crust, I eat it myself, but the full shrimp tails?
Okay, I'll eat shrimp tails sometimes, hell I eat the end of chicken bones until they get all splintery
But you say leftover... Do you just like, pop a handful in your mouth one by one? And is this something that's surprisingly satisfying, or just ok?
It's mostly just a vessel for cocktail sauce. It's still shrimpy enough, not as satisfying as the meat but still good if you don't mind the crunchiness. As a kid, my parents didn't eat the tails and I would take them (and the parsley used for garnish) and eat it because it was still good.
I thought it was a great addition! I remember when the ice cream dripped savagely through the hole, making a mess of your hand...
Just use better quality chocolate
And skip the ice cream and cone.
You know soemtimes I catch myself typing furiously and after the 3rd sentence I realize that I really don't give a flying fuck about the whole subject.
Just eat a different ice cream instead of "petitioning" Cornetto.
Also, if Cornetto did remove the chocolate, that person would probably have to go into hiding.
They'd better run instead
That's almost the best part. Some actually have the waffle part entirely coated in chocolate to prevent it getting soggy. Plus thin layer of chocolate plays nice with the vanilla or strawberry inside.
That's the treat for finishing the whole cone!
Hold it at the bottom and it gets all melty too ๐คค
That's just a bad opinion.
You'd make bank on unpopular opinions with this one.
You could just buy ice cream and cones separately and put them together whenever you want to eat one
I don't like it either, ice cream has a freshness to it that gets ruined when you end the eating with just chocolate. I love chocolate of all kinds, it just isn't what I'd want as the last bite after ice cream. When I was a kid I always ate that part first and just kept my finger on the bottom so it didn't leak. I rarely buy ready-made ice cream cones nowadays so haven't had to do this in many years.
Always felt like a feature. The coating and plug always seemed neat. Maybe one lined and plugged with caramel might work, i dunno. I can't think of alternative options for cheap ice cream treats so the concern has validity.
Not caramel; butterscotch. That stuff can be made to harden the same way the chocolate coating does.
That, or a toffee maybe. Still, that's starting to fall into niche market territory that the cheap sundae cone manufacturer's aren't about to be capturing.
