Are there even enough flowers to sustain butterflies in this environment?
I’d like funding and a city to test this out please.
“BD” refers to Franco-Belgian comics, but let's open things up to include ALL Euro comics and GN's. Euro-style artistry from around the world is also welcome. ^^
-BD = "Bandes dessinées"
-BDT = Bedetheque
-GN = graphic novel
-LBK = Lambiek
-LC = "Ligne claire"

Asking the important questions.
Seriously, my mom used to have butterfly bushes in front of her house (Agastacia maybe?). They didn't seem to take much maintenance, and were amazing at attracting nearby bumblebees, butterflies and hummingbirds. I'd love to see what effect a big lot of them might have.
Nice. This seems heavily inspired by Giovanni Batista Piranesi's "Carceri" (1750). I love these graphics. They're like a weird dreamworld. I saw some as a kid once and remembered them even decades later, but only thought they were from a remembered dream - until i saw them in a museum again. I hope this comic expands on them a bit.
It's a single art piece from what I can tell, altho I'd indeed love to see a whole BD in this style. Really, one of the biggest things I love about LC is when LC sort of hybridizes.
Cool, thanks for sharing this artist:

I really enjoy the restricted palette here, linework and composition are also very pleasing.
Hermoso!
