7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

I feel for the guy, I really do. But this military entitlement pisses me off. You don't deserve better than others.
I frame it a different way: his party likes to idolize the military and say they will take care of their own, but then pull stunts like this. should be a wakeup call for some people.

Those types of things are completely fine. They are functionally inconsequential but show acknowledgement of a decision to serve that most Americans do not make and many would actively try to avoid if called to serve.
Expecting preferential treatment by governmental agencies solely based on that is a totally different story.

Could not agree more. That kind of thing is part of the problem if you ask me. We have this culture where people are expected to genuflect to cops and military. I don't think they deserve less, depending on how they do their job. I just don't understand why it's expected that military and cops should be treated better. Why? If anything, I think we should be thanking caregivers and teachers, etc. for their service...
I realize stories like this are meant to humanize the situation for a lot of normies as to just what Taco and Pee Wee German are doing to this country, but...it is a bit cloying to see that entitlement aspect.

I think this is a crucial observation to understanding this whole mess.
Not everyone lives in a "heliocentric world", where they're just a small part of a bigger system, everyone is just multiple shades of different, and average/normal is statistical fiction.
To a lot of folks, their vantage point is: "people like me are normal and it's everyone else that is on the deep left or right."
Meanwhile they're ready to metaphorically murder Copernicus because it's too painful to admit that these political epicycles they've mapped out are masking the truth.
They get real deep into the solipsism. It's terrifying, because you can't get them out. The person is unrecoverable. It's like death, or a ghost.
