This graph is very inaccurate. Assuming the time axis is linear, the deaths caused by the titanic sinking is shown as spanning like 2 decades, which is obviously untrue. Also the slope of the spike isn't nearly vertical enough, the deaths caused by the titanic sinking would've been almost entirely within a single day, so at the time scale depicted there should be like a single pixel width straight line spike for both events.
