We owe it all to fungus girls

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 32 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Those are the girls you put a ring on.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Every breath I take reminds me of them

[–] LongLive@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Black mold spores from inside your bronchi
Hi

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 7 points 2 months ago

You're breathtaking!

[–] BobbyGasoline@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

Do you mean fungals?

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

You think there are multiple fungirls, but is really just one very large fungirl and the fungirls you see are just their reproductive organs.

[–] nymnympseudonym@lemmy.world 45 points 2 months ago (2 children)

You do realize that to maintain the natural balance there need to be billions of bacteriagirls for every beaver girl

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 40 points 2 months ago (1 children)

'Cause we are living in a microscopic world

And I am a bacterial girl

[–] oppy1984@lemdro.id 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I hate that I heard that in my head to barbie girl...

[–] wunami@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] oppy1984@lemdro.id 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Nope, barbie girl by aqua. If you're lucky enough to have never heard it don't look it up, you'll never un-hear it.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Yep, instant recall of... apparently a core memory.

You can touch my hair, undress me everywhere~!

Come on Barbie lets go party.

I wanted to attempt to somehow rewrite it to be bacterial themed, but ... I don't know enough microbial vocab, and every bit I do know has way too many syllables.

[–] oppy1984@lemdro.id 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Somebody else got the bacteria translation, check the replies.

Am bacteria girl
In bacteria wo-orld
Life micros-copic
It's fantastic

You see me in hair.
And find me every-where.
With mutation, life is mine formation.

The word barbie rhymes with bacteria in Turkish btw.
Don't read last part as song in your head.

[–] yuri@pawb.social 3 points 2 months ago

missed opportunity to rhyme micro-plastics with fantastic

[–] oppy1984@lemdro.id 2 points 2 months ago

Welp that's a week long earworm....

Nicely done BTW.

[–] Saleh@feddit.org 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Gendering bacteria is a bit difficult though.

I mean, its all perfomative at that point, right?

Unless there is some lore I am unaware of... isn't a slimegirl basically a Ditto?

More transhuman than transgender at that point.

[–] TriflingToad@sh.itjust.works 42 points 2 months ago (2 children)

don't let your cat girls outside, they tear up the local ecosystem

[–] _AutumnMoon_@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 2 months ago

Maybe if the ecosystem didn't want to be torn up it shouldn't have been so tear-upable :3

[–] sneezycat@sopuli.xyz 39 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Is this an euphemism for lesbians?

[–] KindnessIsPunk@lemmy.ca 43 points 2 months ago (1 children)

When I was playing Elden Ring I said the same thing about "finger maiden"

Crab girl (tastes like crab, looks like girl) and lizard woman (one of our reptilian overlords), here to take over the world.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 4 points 2 months ago

Now that's a superheroine duo I'd want to read/watch

well, I'm doing my part by feeding the roving hoarde of feral catgirls that show up every couple of nights.

oddly, they ... don't seem to really go for normal cat food.

I've found that a crushed up mix of ramen packets and pocky works well, mix it with either tuna or chicken.

Also, they scream at me now if I just give them water... I gave them some boba tea once, and now it seems to be a requirement, they'll start clawing each other if it isn't present.

[–] jouhija@sopuli.xyz 15 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Aren't all girls beaver girls?

I know precisely one beaver furry and they are more girl-ish than girl. XD

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Does being the mod of the beaver community count? I guess I’m a beaver girl.

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 16 points 2 months ago (3 children)
[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Omg, I would so wear that.

[–] tyr0sine@mander.xyz 3 points 2 months ago

The illustrious Beaver Queen from that year's contest was named Jeannie Tailia. 😆

[–] rustydrd@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 months ago

"Ay gurl, are you a centipede? Coz those legs don't quit!"

[–] Saleh@feddit.org 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

What about the vulture girls?

[–] oppy1984@lemdro.id 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Something something....my ex girlfriend.....blah blah blah.

Now nobody has to make that joke.

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Thank you for your sacrifice.

[–] AeonFelis@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Beaver girls twerk, and suddenly - dam!

[–] Batman@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (2 children)
[–] Sculptor9157@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 months ago

There are two inside you.

[–] Beacon@fedia.io 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] heyWhatsay@slrpnk.net 6 points 2 months ago

Awwww dam, I'll be your birch tree

The ecosystem is so hollowed out that higher-up the foodchain species like beaver have a tougher time feeding themselves, while lower-down species have to re-populate an underpopulated environment. of course you'd rather be a mouse than a beaver in these days.
