How is this within ICE's jurisdiction?

i mean if you think about it what is and isn’t ICE’s jurisdiction has always been wishy-washy and vague. ICE is really, really young compared to other, similar departments and it has always been reactionary in nature.

ICE is allowed to do whatever is convenient at the time. that’s been the rule their entire existence. why it took them going full gestapo for the average american to understand why that’s a patently bad idea, we might never know.

It’s basically just openly turning into the thing that people warned it was destined to be when it was created during that massive revocation of rights post 9/11.
