MODERATORS
It's not something I'd normally watch. Enough depressing things going on in the real world, without mixing in fiction.
However, I did binge it all in one session. Great acting. But the whole thing was a brutal experience.
Aside from the main story line, reminded me of how horrible school can be. I sometimes wake up in the mornings and think: "Yes, I get to go to work, and not school!"
So if you really enjoy a good misery drama (and that's not me being judgemental, I just can't think of a better way of classifying it.) Then I'd recommended it.
I know what you mean! School has so many cliques, hierarchies and social practices it's fucking awful
In my opinion yes, it is really good in all its parts, script, acting, technical part, themes.

Excellent quality. Maybe tough to swallow whole. We watched one part at a time in order to decompress.

It's a fucked up story, specially because it's very real. It happened, it happens, and it will keep happening in this modern world unless we do something about it.

I'm not sure if that's what this person meant, but the presentation is also very realistic. The scenes are very long and are stitched together to create the feeling of each episode being one take. You are constantly in the moment with the characters, there is no downtime to let you reflect on what's happening. You just get ~45 minutes (I can't remember how long the episodes are) of non-stop tension and gut punches but you can only really start to process them when the credits roll. Because of that it's a difficult show to binge for some.

Wow, that makes it even more ambitious and impressive! There were scenes where I felt for sure that they'd pulled off some clever stitching.
Same, I was distracted for the first 10 minutes trying to watch out for a cut!
In that first episode I thought they were using the interview and waiting rooms in the police station, so every time they pulled back to that busier corridor it would have been the start of filming.
Yes, I knew they were shot with one take. Very impressive indeed.
Not at all. They make a big point out of filming using "one shot" but it leads to just filling the time with a bunch of boring, dead air. I stopped watching while they were driving around and spent 5 minutes talking about music because they couldn't cut to the next scene.
The acting is top notch but that's about all I can say.
Seemed a bit lower-budget and slow.
