Capitalism needs poverty, which is why it creates poverty

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And why dems okay not addressing it or letting what limited help they do expire

Democrats have never been concerned about easing the struggle of the working class. Their purpose is to pacify the working class with meaningless gestures, and hollow platitudes

[–] sasquatch7704@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Well, to be fair, comunism also created poverty.

Maybe it's the shity humans that get elected (or not), that create poverty, not necessarily the system

[–] PixeIOrange@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

No. Capitalism punishes socialism systems (communism never existet) so poverty can rise even in them.

The main problem of humankind is capitalism.

Government is the legislative arm of capitalism. Capitalism is designed to concentrate wealth at the top at the expense of the working class.

Is NATO fighting against poverty now?

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Banjo has told me he wants Mexicans kept in cages because they committed crimes. Ignore anything they say.

They think when Republicans do it, they're evil. When Democrats do it, it's moral and just.

It's just interesting to see what they'll say today.

Or interesting when they suddenly stop after flawed logic pointed out in their silly attempt to score points

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

The same old tired bullshit, unable to read anything that doesn't agree with them.

I mean they downvote and act like that's a response to "please treat humans with dignity and respect"

[–] goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

In their mind if not with them then aren't worth respect

[–] eugenevdebs@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 6 days ago

Why else would they be for the removal of anyone they disagree with and/or committed crimes?
