Let's assume they willingly applied for draft, then it is that simple. But that shit is not exactly happening with everyone. Many are forcefully drafted.

Choices are: A) go to war or B) go to prison. One is a chance of death and a certain ruined life after if survived. The other one, well, chance of death and a chance of a ruined life after except it has a monetary reward that can support your family or you after you came back.

Then we add inmates into equation. Wait! Mercenaries, of course! Add them too. Then some DPRK soldiers. Sprinkle some politically forced individuals. And suddenly, nothing is so simple and easy.

Cmon, man. You cant just say "nah" and they let you go. Russian draft is fucking cruel. If you haven't escaped to bordering countries, good fucking luck evading draft.

There are thousands of videos showing Russia soldiers defecting, giving themselves up, surrendering, or not going to war

Unless we see evidence to the contrary there's no reason to believe they weren't willing to be there

Russians are not drafted to go to Ukraine. It's specifically against the terms of their draft, conscripts are for home defense only. Every soldier there is doing it for the money

I'll explain further, because you are apparently a bit slow:
The Russians are the aggressors and in this case got what they deserve as the aggressors.
Ukrainians are innocent and just defending themselves against aggression, so when they are killed it is an injustice.
So when you made that comparison, you made a false equivalence.

The purpose of the video is to show that Ukraine is successfully defending themselves against Russia despite daily war-crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine.
