It's a long process initiated during presidency of Dalia Grybauskaitė that required cooperation by all 3 baltic states. A lot of work was done preparing for network stability and resilience from outside actors (Russia). That is why so much news covering this.

If it's anything like bolt or uber, they take 30 percent from food price also (which is hidden from the final consumer)

I always imagine them blasting Queen - Don't stop me now, while hot wheeling their electric scooter

For a language constantly voted as most desired for x number if years in a row (stackoverflow survey), there are now quite a few developers actively working with Rust full-time and paid. I think it's in top 20 languages by now.

I guess the "four thieves vinegar" is becoming very important again.

I doubt, Russia has trouble producing simple items like butter for internal use, not to mention exports. Pretty sure that they will grow basically no grain if they win.

Are those "european cowards" in a room here with us?

Most of people here I know is just hoping that at least half of our military spending would go straight to Ukraine. The support must flow.

What's bad about it?

Isn't the calculation misleading? It looks like it calculates the modern lifestyle CO2 and applies it to a baby. So the argument just goes, if no people, then no co2. Which is correct, although completely skipping anything about the actual underlying systemic issues for producing this much co2 in the first place.

This isn't an argument about morality or veganism, the link just seemed like a hit peace against environmentalism

We usually say fun fact for little children, so they would learn ;)

Fun fact, no one cares if they use incense in their homes. It doesn't affect others. Shit, you can even vape back home and no one will bat an eye. But since it is at very least annoying as fuck to sit in vape clouds, you are not allowed to do that.

It's either the right to vape or the right to breathe clean air. You can't have both.

Spent the last 3 months getting requirements for computer upgrades. After that picked out some decent laptops. (Thinkpad L and T series)

Nothing fancy, but I'm just tired of diagnosing problems with previous sysadmin purchased Vostro laptops.

After getting quotes from multiple vendors, finally got everything and sent the CEO to confirm. Guess fucking what... It got fucking denied.

"Look for cheaper laptops and replace only whats critical"

Employees are rocking 7 year old laptops with 128G SSDs! The bloody things can't even run Win 11! The whole upgrade costs less than their single "teambuilding"! I hate this these cheapskates so fucking much...

The Russians were so full of themselves from the start. Vatniks claiming non-stop on how they can't stop winning.

I wish all the best Ukraine bros. It's impressive beyond belief how you are managing the invasion.
