No kidding.
Plus, as much as others or I may not like it, the selection criteria does not include a morality clause.
Broadly speaking, they grant the award to people who have
“done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”
I'm sorry but if those are the criteria then they're just picking names out of hats at this point and they aren't even keeping track of the names they put in the hat.
Look up who is on the Nobel Peace Prize committee and you'll see it's a bit of a joke.
Or you know, they could just revoke the noble peace prize and just not give it out this year. That would send a better message at this point.
What’s the whole point of handing out these awards every year if they’re not deserved?
If they had any semblance of balls they'd give it to doctors, journalists and volunteers in Gaza. Or just Palestinians in general.
I mean it's not like they have the best track record giving these away anyway right?
The Nobel prize is a jester's hat.
Only worthy of ridicule.
Nah, the physics, chemistry and medicine prizes are always on point I think.
I imagine there's some bias and racism in there too.
