I’m sure Hyundai has many brand new unsold working cars on their lots around the country. He should get a lawyer and have them replace his car with one of them if the one they sold him can’t be repaired in a timely manner.

Leasing is easier, no? If they can't provide you with a working car, you don't have to pay. Isn't that the crux of the deal?
