Wow, trump and this guy have the same history.
Myhrvold, who was among those who contributed to a 2003 birthday book made for Epstein, was named as a passenger for two flights on Epstein’s private jet in the 1990s

Nathan Myrvohld is the quietly strange one, and to me the least surprising Microsoft person they could have named.
no!
Deleting Windows, Edge, Copilot, Teams, Office, explorer.exe immediately!
Your work computer will just reinstall them.
And does, along with reboots thrown in for free, damn near weekly.
Linux can be a wonderful alternative these days. It’s not for everyone, but the option is always there.
I’ve heard Mint is set it and forget it. Arch wasn’t for me but have been happy on openSUSE tumbleweed.
I’m really happy on Tumbleweed. Been on it for a year or so. Once I understood how package patterns worked I was entirely content.
Any links for a good explainer? I have one dependency bothering me at the moment.
Not particularly a single spot, I'm afraid. My big gripe was that software I removed kept coming back after zypper dups and I didn't really get why. Heard about patterns, read on a little, then poked around in YAST/Myrlyn and figured out how to fully freeze/remove patterns. E.g. I don't care at all for the default GNOME games, and a bunch of other things, like the Calendar, or Evolution etc. What kind of dependency issue are you facing?
I’ll have to get back to you. It was 1.20.x GStreamer not meeting requirements. Haven’t noticed any functionality issues. I’m away from the box for a little bit.
I would say Debian, but Mint is a decent option. I preferred LMDE with KDE but its no longer officially supported as I understand it, only cinnamon is.
