The Russians are definitely losing steam on the front, and I bet just about everything sucks in Russia by now.

It is getting cold in Russia, and everything else is getting worse for them too: Declining wages, increasing prices, gas shortages, failing infrastructure, and now Russia is even seeing unemployment despite the previously overheated economy because of the war.
Many Russians aren't being paid even if they have what should be solid work, oil companies and many factories are withholding pay for 3 months now, and some even longer, Russia is running dry, and needless to say the banks that Putin has called on to help finance everything, are on the verge of bankruptcy too. There simply are no more holes in the belt to tighten it any further to save money as we say here, and there are no more options to find financing.

The Russian money reserves Putin had saved up for this are empty, and Russia can no-longer afford to maintain the prewar economic level, as the economy is slowing down resulting in lower taxes, and the income from oil is failing too now.

As I've mention before, I doubt Putin will survive this winter, because it is already clear that Russia can't win this war, and during the winter it will become ever more clear for all Russians to see too, as shortages will get worse.
