If you think Lemmy is a bit too quiet today, that's probably why.

Federation is broken: https://sh.itjust.works/?dataType=Post&listingType=All&page=1&sort=New

There is also a site-wide error preventing connected users from displaying comments.

Well obviously, you can't tempt fate with that name 24/7 without occasional repercussion.

You can join the Matrix space in the instance sidebar to have a look. Basically, it's a storage issue, but the admins have to investigate (I'm pretty sure they are still asleep as of now)

I've noticed this myself something smiliar to this

I couldn't access !lemmy.world on Monday for around 30 minutes

Has this been resolved? I'm able to load comments now.

The instance should rename sh.itjustdont.works :)

It's an opportunity to try kbin again, it seems the federation with fedia works way better than it did last time I tried, but I must say I am still somehow lost with it, it's great bacause I see different magazines, but it sucks because it's not "just a backup account"

Out of curiosity, what's the difference between mbin and kbin ?

So it's purely a political fork with nothing substantially different?
