Trying something out - ActivityPub promises a way for different websites to network with each other, so I followed @memes to follow a Reddit-like community (subreddit) from my Twitter-like Mastodon.

One thing I like is that I immediately get posts from the community on my feed. One thing I absolutely don't like is that the Lemmy memes group auto-boosts every post AND every comment on the post, so the home timeline gets filled really fast.

Anyone experienced in #lemmy that can help?

I'll have a gander here too, i was hoping it would just show the community post, not all the comments, or boost it everytime a comment is made.

You can KIND OF circumvent it by turning off boosts for that follow, but it's still not exactly a great experience ๐Ÿ˜
