tl;dr

  1. Alonso proving age doesn't matter
  2. Mercedes car unsavagable
  3. Piastri is great
  4. Sprints are still awful
  5. Perez's qualy pace is letting RedBull down
  6. The new regs aren't working as intended

Or it could be that Alonso is an outlier. You would think if age didn't matter then there would have been others before him.

I mean, we dont know if for example Schumacher in 2012 was "past his prime" due to his age or due to a different factor.
