I love it too!!

582 native users, and 649 subscribers - so a respectable 10% coming in from other communities and instances. Pretty good for a little instance that's just a month old.

For sure! I’ve been spreading the word anywhere I can on Reddit the past couple weeks. Over there I am u/Nice_Daikon6096

Oh, hey, I recognize that user! You had the post with our instance link up on r/gme right? - great job getting the word out. It's really appreciated!

I've seen your posts! I don't doubt you've helped a large amount of the current subscribers find their way here. I hope you didn't get too many bans for it 😅

[–] RCisthename@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 7 points 2 years ago

Just on superstonk lol

[–] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 9 points 2 years ago (1 children)

649, next stop 741.

Is 741 still a thing?

[–] Chives@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Oh, it absolutely is a thing. You just got me so hyped for that milestone.

Up to 658 subs now - 83 to go. Love it.

[–] prsmike@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

haha user 741 to subscribe should get a special tag or something (are flairs a thing here?)

[–] Chives@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 3 points 2 years ago

Not yet - not natively.

I expect that to be a feature someone created and is added to the main branch for the software though, plenty of RES features hopefully make their way over soon.

I have been waiting for this a long time. Superstonk is just a cesspool of bots and censorship.

[–] prsmike@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 8 points 2 years ago

Oh fuck yeah! I checked just the other day and thought it was in the low 500's...look at us go!

[–] BrainCheck@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 7 points 2 years ago

Build it and they will come!

Good to see this community getting traction.

Hey Mods, have you considered adding the 'old' skin to your Lemmy instance as https://old.lemmy.ca/ has done? It's pretty cool :)

P.S. MapleApes, check out !gmecanada@lemmy.ca for hoser-specific GME discussions... hopefully more Canucks will move over from the 'old site' sub.

[–] MozooZ@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

So it makes it look like ("old") Reddit, I guess?

[–] Arghblarg@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) (1 children)

Yes indeed. It's kinda spooky how close it looks. Now if lemmy communities supported user flairs on comments and posts, it would be the cherry on top :)

[–] MozooZ@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 1 points 2 years ago

Ha! Funny. What's old is new again and what's new is old again.

[–] MozooZ@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 2 points 2 years ago

Pretty awesome.

I’m using iOS , which app you using

[–] RCisthename@lemmy.whynotdrs.org 1 points 2 years ago

Memmy! But honestly I’ve grown to like the web version and mainly just use a home screen icon for that version
