I worked there, not complicated. They allow for troll farms cause they don't violate their ToS. So many far right groups/movements run by admins that live in eastern Europe..

Right? What a stupid article. The answer is a resounding YES. Facebook knowingly profited off misinformation and rage. They don't give two shits if they cause societal collapse by eroding confidence in our institutions so long as they make a buck in the process. Fuck Facebook and Mark Fuckerberg.
