Looks like the fix is targeted for 0.18 when websockets are removed. I'm not sure this fix should wait that long though since this issue has both usabily and performance impacts.
Oh, whoops. I should have checked! Thanks.
No worries. I only found it because someone else pointed me to it. And its pretty hard to describe in a search
Yep happens for me too on the website. Doesn't happen on the android app for me though.
I hope there is a fix soon. It makes the website really hard to use for some simply browsing and scrolling atm.
There's an app?
Whoa, I downloaded it and this is way better than using the browser on my phone
It's still in alpha, you'll experience some weird glitches here and there. And some features are missing from the app. But it's actually still really good and with the influx of new users there's also new volunteers (Jerboa is open source) so I expect some very quick and big updates to come soon. It's not Sync but it's still really good.
Oh boy this bug is so annoying.
Going to page 2 seems to disable the constant popping.
Same here. No idea how to fix it. It's pretty annoying, though
This is happening for me, except it's old posts that are popping up at the top of the feed, some weeks old. It's very annoying, and makes it difficult to catchup.
Also, if you sort by new it is impossible to read something because the site keeps refreshing and adding every new post on top. It shouldn't refresh unless i tell it to.
