Is there any way in firefox to completely remove shorts shelf from youtube? Some extension maybe?

There appear to be a few extensions. Wikihow has a couple of articles about how to block shorts.

Try element picker of ublock origin. It worked for me.

There's a extension who blocks the shorts shelf and plays shorts as a normal video.
