It’s this, but as a group activity in a bath (hot spring style, not your little tub at home).
That's when I come over to your location, do tuvan throat singing, or heavy metal growling (your choice) while peeing on everyone present (not your choice)
A "group sound bath" is similar to a small musical performance, except everyone is lying down relaxing, and the instrument is a bunch of stone bowls that make deep droning sounds when you run the stick thing that they come with along the rim of the bowl. The sound production is very similar to the way a crystal glass sings when you rub your finger on the rim of the glass, except far deeper in tone because of the large size of the bowls.
Witchy-types believe there is some sort of healing/metaphysical effect to being exposed to those sounds from those bowls, but without speculating on effects that cannot be measured I can only attest that the single sound bath I've attended was incredibly relaxing.
I listen to these bowl sounds when meditating. Can confirm very relaxing.
I'd say standing 1m in front off a bass wall with your friends at 5 in the morning.

My first thought was an adult-sized ultrasonic cleaner bath where they get dipped in chemicals and vibrated until the flesh falls off the bones.

I went to a dronemetal concert once. It was two hours of the loudest thing I ever experienced, like a column of noise washing over and through my body, vibrating my inner organs. One of the top things I ever experienced. If that's what a soundbath is, I'd absolutely do it first thing in the morning.
