Indeed the shooter boy turned out to be a registered republican voter and since he was only 20 I'd say it was pretty recently.
No one flips Red on a whim.
I registered GOP so I could vote against Nixon in the primaries. I disliked Nixon more then I had any strong feeling for any of the other candidates.
