It’s a main character in a series of books.
It’s a fantasy with an interestinf magic system based on ingesting metals and “burning them” to fuel the powers. Each metal is paired with an alloy, that has an opposite power.
Vin is a street rat that falls in with a bunch of theives that were hired to overthrow a tyrant emperor- she turns out being a “Mistborn”- some one who can use all metals instead of just one.
Such a cute name, and it seems like it suits her!
